Spam Filtering
No one likes Spam email. Spam is distracting, it intrudes upon our privacy, and consumes our time - a valuable commodity for all of us. We have created the finest Spam-filtering solution available today - SVFilter. It by far exceeds any standard (including quality and functionality) used today for Spam filtering. SVFilter employs a sophisticated program to accurately distinguish between legitimate messages and those that are Spam.
Legitimate messages arrive in your Email Inbox as normal, while those that SVFilter identifies as Spam, are temporarily stored elsewhere for later retrieval.
If the report lists an email message that you want to read, you may immediately retrieve it by clicking on the "Retrieve" link. Retrieved messages will be delivered to your Inbox on that occasion, but will continue to be filtered in the future.
Clicking on the Whitelist link for an email message listed in the Report, will add the Sender to your whitelist, so messages from those Senders will always be delivered. This will also immediately move the message into your Inbox. This is especially useful if you subscribe to a mailing list that looks a lot like spam to the SVFilter.
Reports are generated at 00:00, 06:00, 12:00, and 18:00 GMT. In addition to these automatically generated reports, Users may generate a report at anytime by sending a blank email to username-report@your-domain-name. For example, if your mail username is "jenny", you would send a blank message to jenny-report@your-domain-name. The SVFilter will send you an up-to-the minute Report, to your Inbox.
SVFilter supports a personalized message classifier that learns with each message that your mailbox receives.
SVFilter also provides additional classification filtering that can be easily trained on an individual, per-mailbox configuration.
SVFilter can be easily enabled or disabled on a per-mailbox basis through the NetConsole Administrative Interface.
